The project will compare musical and non-mus= ical training and its effects on auditory performance and cognitive functio= ns, using both EEG and behavioral measures. NTU Psychology is the largest psychology department in the UK, with >150 st= aff from all disciplines of psychology, and a thriving community of cogniti= ve, perceptual and neuroscience research. NTU was Guardian UK University of= Year 2019 and Times and Sunday Times UK Modern University of Year 2022. This PhD studentship is a collaboration between the Department of Psycholog= y at Nottingham Trent University (supervised by Nathaniel Zuk, PhD) and the= Department of Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences at Boston University (c= o-supervised by Jennifer Zuk, PhD, CCC-SLP).
