The Purdue SLHS program is among the largest and hig= hest-ranked of its kind and is home to leading research faculty, outstandin= g facilities and resources, and, most importantly, a supportive training en= vironment for our graduate scholars. Faculty engage graduate scholars in interdisciplinary research on normative= and disordered processes in speech, language, voice, swallowing, and heari= ng. Doctoral students are fully funded through a variety of sources, includ= ing individual fellowships (at the university and national level), two NIH = training grants, research assistantships, and teaching assistantships. Stud= ents receive individually-tailored training, and students from our program = have an exemplary history of moving into impactful research-oriented career= s.
