The project will be=20 led by Benedikt Zoefel and funded by the Agence National de Recherche=20 (ANR). The successful applicant will join a lively research institute in a=20 thriving city in Southern France and apply state-of-the-art methods=20 (tACS in combination with EEG, neurofeedback) to manipulate neural=20 oscillations in the auditory system and test their role for auditory=20 perception and attention. Applicants should hold a PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, hearing=20 science, engineering or similar. They must have excellent programming=20 (MATLAB, Python or similar) and signal processing skills. Experience=20 with transcranial brain stimulation or EEG, and a background in research=20 on neural oscillations, are not strictly necessary, but highly appreciate= d.
