It = will be hosted by the School of Music Studies <https://www.auth.gr/en/school/mus-en/> and the Cognitive and Computational Musicology Group <https://ccm.web.auth.gr/index.html> at the Artistotle University of Thessaloniki. Timbre 2023 will include *the first ever Summer School on Timbre and Orchestration*, an initiative of the ACTOR Partnership <https://www.actorproject.org/>. The summer school will take place 8=E2=80= =9312 July 2023. Participants will be instructed by world-class experts and will get a chance to apply what they learn in guided discussions during the Timbre 2023 conference.
