This=20 project aims is to evaluate the impact of early musical interventions in=20 the NICU on preterm infants=E2=80=99 development, starting from 28 weeks=20 gestational age up until 18 months. In this longitudinal study, we will=20 evaluate the development of auditory rhythm processing capacities with=20 EEG and behavioral tasks and other aspects of cognitive development. The=20 project consortium involves four academic partners with complementary=20 expertise in early neurodevelopment, neural data processing (in=20 particular EEG), cognitive neurosciences of music and music analysis. The positions will be with Sahar Moghimi in Amiens (INSERM U1105) and=20 with Barbara Tillmann in Dijon (LEAD-UMR5022), starting around March=20 2023, and both will be in collaboration with Laurel Trainor (McMaster=20 University, Canada). The post-docs will work together and in=20 collaboration with the other consortium members. _1) Amiens (https://gramfc.u-picardie.fr/) ___ The post-doc will be fully dedicated to extracting the EEG correlates of=20 rhythm processing in the course of development, aiming to evaluate the=20 impact of musical interventions on neurodevelopment. /Required:/PhD in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer=20 science, or related fields, strong background in neural signal=20 processing, advanced skills with scripting languages, such as Matlab or=20 Python, research experience in EEG signal processing/modeling /Preferable:/knowledge in the field of neurosciences of music and/or=20 auditory perception, French fluency 2) _Dijon (http://leadserv.u-bourgogne.fr/en) ___ The post-doc will be mainly in charge of the longitudinal testing=20 program aiming to evaluate the impact of the musical interventions on=20 the rhythmic, cognitive and social development of the preterm infants. /Required/: PhD in developmental psychology, cognitive neurosciences or=20 neuropsychology; research experience in developmental science, strong=20 motivation for team work; statistical and programming skills /Preferable/: knowledge in the field of neurosciences of music and/or=20 auditory perception, prior experience with EEG, French fluency. All applications should include a CV, a cover letter specifying research=20 interests and motivation, and contact details for two referees. Post-doc applications should be sent to either=20 sahar.moghimi@xxxxxxxx (position in Amiens) or=20 barbara.tillmann@xxxxxxxx(position in Dijon). Applications will be evaluated as they come in, and the positions will=20 be open until filled. --=20 Barbara Tillmann LEAD, CNRS UMR5022 http://leadserv.u-bourgogne.fr/en/ --------------pquLV9xRh96DdL0Z0qLeYwPn Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-MIME-Autoconverted: from 8bit to quoted-printable by edgeum4.it.mcgill.ca id 29KKr0pr111930

<meta http-equiv=3D"content-type" content=3D"text/html; charset=3DUTF= -8">

<p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language: EN-GB" lang=3D"EN-US">(Apologies for multiple postings)<= /i>
<p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language: EN-GB" lang=3D"EN-US">

<p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language: EN-GB" lang=3D"EN-US">Dear all,

<p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language: EN-GB" lang=3D"EN-US">=C2=A0
<p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman",serif; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language: EN-GB" lang=3D"EN-US">Two 3-year post-doc positions are available within the research project PreMusic, funded by the French National Research Agency ANR.
