The candidate will be part of a growing research team consisting of senior and junior postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and a technician, who work on the development of music technology for people living with dementia. The candidate will be placed in the Music department, along with this team, but will also work closely with supervisors and collaborators in Computer Science. The Healthy Lifespan Institute supports this PhD position through training and expertise in multimorbidity and lifespan developments. The wider network includes links with Neuroscience and Dementia specialists. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in computation and music, potentially combined with psychology or behavioural science, ideally with previous experience with AI.
