DeLiang Wang in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Ohio= State University. The postdoc project seeks to develop multimodal, multi-c= hannel algorithms to perform speaker separation in noisy and reverberant co= nditions, in order to substantially elevate separation, localization, and a= utomatic speech recognition performances in real-world conditions. More spe= cifically, the candidate will investigate deep learning methods for robust = speaker separation by leveraging audio and visual inputs. The project also = aims for causal and lightweight neural networks to facilitate real-time on-= device implementation. The appointment will be initially for one year, with potential extension fo= r 2 two more years. The position carries competitive compensation, and the = successful candidate will join a leading laboratory in deep learning based = speech separation. To apply, send a cover letter, CV, and contact informati= on for 2-3 references, to DeLiang Wang (dwang (at) cse.ohio-state.edu). App= lications received by August 31, 2022 will be given full consideration, and= later applications will be considered until the position is filled. ------------------------------------------------------------ DeLiang Wang, Professor Co-Editor-in-Chief, Neural Networks Department of Computer Science and Engineering The Ohio State University 2015 Neil Ave. Columbus, OH 43210-1277, U.S.A.
