The goal of the 2-day workshop is to bring together young researchers and e= stablished scholars from the fields of hearing science and music in order t= o create a dialogue on topics related to music, hearing, and health. The wo= rkshop will include keynote presentations by Deniz Baskent (University of G= roningen) and Chris Plack (University of Manchester), poster presentations,= several sessions with invited speakers, live music, and round table events= . The workshop is open to the public. Submissions may address (but are = not limited to) the following topics: - Hearing impairment and music perception - Music perception with hearing aids or cochlear implants - Individualized music processing - Individual differences in music perception and production - Music-related interventions to improve health or quality of life Please submit a 200-300 words abstract of the work you will communicate wit= h your poster. Make clear your aims, hypotheses, methods, and results of yo= ur work. Abstracts will be submitted via the workshop website. Submission d= eadline is July 25, 2022.
