Penn; https://auditoryresearchlaboratory.weebly.com/) and Je= nnifer Groh (Duke U.; www.duke.edu/~jmgroh) seeks a full-time post-doctoral = scholar. Our labs study visual, auditory, and multisensory processing in the brain using neurophysi= ological and computational techniques. We have a newly funded NIH grant to s= tudy the contribution of corticofugal connectivity in non-human primate mode= ls of auditory perception. The work will take place at the Penn site.=20 =20 The work combines auditory psychophysics, large-scale neuronal recordings, = and computational neuroscience. Candidates are expected to have a PhD (or eq= uivalent) related to neuroscience, engineering, physics, psychology, or simi= lar disciplines. Candidates with backgrounds in computational theory are esp= ecially encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have experience in tr= aining Old World monkeys on behavioral tasks, recording neuronal activity wh= ile monkeys are engaged in behavior, and using computational approaches to a= nalyze the data. The intellectual environment of the University of Pennsylva= nia is outstanding for computational auditory neuroscience.=20 =20 This will be a full-time, 12-month renewable appointment. Salary will be co= mmensurate with experience and consistent with NIH NRSA stipends. To apply, = send your CV along with contact information for 2 referees to: compneuro@xxxxxxxx= .upenn.edu.
