The aim of t= he project is to understand neural correlates of the interaction between no= ise (e.g., disturbing factors) and working memory load during the processin= g of manual-visual and oral-aural language. By testing individuals that are= fluent in both a spoken and a sign language the same linguistic content is= investigated in both language modalities. The groups are assessed on a comprehensive test battery of = hearing and cognition on three occasions, and psychosocial health and socia= l participation is assessed on occasions two and three.
