The model describes the i= mportance of cognitive mechanisms in the language comprehension process. Th= e N200 project includes three groups (200 participants in each group): peop= le without hearing loss, people with hearing loss who use hearing aids, and= people with hearing loss who do not use hearing aids. The groups are asses= sed on a comprehensive test battery of hearing and cognition on three occas= ions, and psychosocial health and social participation is assessed on occas= ions two and three.
