Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you! Postdoctoral position in Cognitive Hearing Science<https://liu.se/en/work-a= t-liu/vacancies?rmpage=3Djob&rmjob=3D18312&rmlang=3DUK>, Ref LiU-2022-00650= , 2022-03-03 The position is placed within the research project N200, which is a longitu= dinal project where relationships between hearing loss, cognition, and psyc= hosocial aspects are examined, partly motivated based on the Ease of Langua= ge Understanding model developed at the Division. The model describes the i= mportance of cognitive mechanisms in the language comprehension process. Th= e N200 project includes three groups (200 participants in each group): peop= le without hearing loss, people with hearing loss who use hearing aids, and= people with hearing loss who do not use hearing aids. The groups are asses= sed on a comprehensive test battery of hearing and cognition on three occas= ions, and psychosocial health and social participation is assessed on occas= ions two and three. The data collection from the second measurement session= is about to being completed. PhD student in Disability Research<https://liu.se/en/work-at-liu/vacancies?= rmpage=3Djob&rmjob=3D18336&rmlang=3DUK>, Ref LiU-2022-00782, 2022-03-18 The position is placed within the research project "Neural networks involve= d in the processing of cognitive demands in noisy conditions". The aim of t= he project is to understand neural correlates of the interaction between no= ise (e.g., disturbing factors) and working memory load during the processin= g of manual-visual and oral-aural language. By testing individuals that are= fluent in both a spoken and a sign language the same linguistic content is= investigated in both language modalities. Your work assignments will inclu= de planning and conducting functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) exp= eriments, statistically analyze data, and present results in scientific and= popular science settings. PhD student in Disability Research<https://liu.se/en/work-at-liu/vacancies?= rmpage=3Djob&rmjob=3D18405&rmlang=3DUK>, Ref LiU-2022-00873, 2022-04-13 The position is placed within the research project N200, which is a longitu= dinal project where relationships between hearing loss, cognition, and psyc= hosocial aspects are examined. The project includes three groups (200 parti= cipants in each, hence "N200"): people without hearing loss, people with he= aring loss who use hearing aids, and people with hearing loss who do not us= e hearing aids. The groups are assessed on a comprehensive test battery of = hearing and cognition on three occasions, and psychosocial health and socia= l participation is assessed on occasions two and three.
