SPECIALIZED FACULTY OF AUDIOLOGY Department of Speech and Hearing Science College of Applied Health Sciences University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign =20 Position: The University of Illinois Department of Speech and Hearing Scien= ce (SHS) (http://shs.illinois.edu) is seeking to recruit an outstanding can= didate for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track position as a Lecturer, S= enior Lecturer, or Teaching Assistant Professor, with opportunity for advan= cement. Proposed Starting Date: August 16, 2022.=20 Responsibilities: Contribute to didactic teaching needs in the undergradua= te and clinical Au.D. program, develop and deliver online courses, and part= icipate in departmental committees. There are also opportunities to contrib= ute to collaborative research. Qualifications: Applicants must hold a terminal degree for clinical practi= ce in Audiology or a Ph.D. in a related field and hold the Certificate of C= linical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-H= earing Association (ASHA). A minimum of 1 year of full-time (or equivalent)= clinical experience is preferred. Experience with instruction of undergrad= uate and graduate students and experience with online course development is= also preferred. Individuals with demonstrated interests in acoustics, ampl= ification, aural rehabilitation, clinical business planning and management,= educational audiology, medical audiology, psychoacoustics, and/or vestibul= ar assessment and rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
