Many thanks, Benedikt Zoefel -------------------------------------- We are looking for a post-doc to work with us at the Centre de Recherche de= Cerveau et Cognition (CerCo) in Toulouse, France. The project will be led = by Dr Benedikt Zoefel and funded by the Fondation pour l=92Audition. The successful applicant will apply state-of-the-art methods (tACS in combi= nation with EEG or fMRI) to examine neural and behavioural effects of tACS,= with the ultimate aim of transforming tACS into an established technique t= o enhance speech perception. The successful applicant will join a lively re= search institute in a thriving city in Southern France and have the opportu= nity to collaborate with other international experts (Dr Matthew Davis, Cam= bridge; Dr Stefanie Enriquez-Geppert, Groningen). Applicants should hold a PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, hearing sc= ience, engineering or similar. They must have excellent programming (MATLAB= , Python or similar) and signal processing skills. Experience with transcra= nial brain stimulation or EEG, and a background in research on neural oscil= lations, are not strictly necessary, but highly appreciated. The position is scheduled to start in mid-November 2021. It will initially = run for 10.5 months, with the possibility to be extended for another 2 year= s.
