Dear all, The International Association for Forensic Phonetics and Acoustics = (IAFPA) is the professional association for forensic scientists and = researchers who analyse voices, speech and audio recordings. The organisation seeks to foster research and provide a forum for the = interchange of ideas and information on practice, development and = research in forensic phonetics and acoustics, and to set down and = enforce standards of professional conduct and procedure for those = involved in forensic phonetic and acoustic casework =E2=80=93 members = are therefore bound by a Code of Practice. IAFPA was formally established in York, England, in 1991 with the name = The International Association for Forensic Phonetics (IAFP). Since = then, IAFP has grown to over 120 members worldwide, with expertise = spanning both forensic phonetics and acoustics (hence the addition of = the latter =E2=80=98A=E2=80=99 to IAFPA). The 2021 conference is the postponed 2020 conference that - due to the = continuing pandemic situation - must fully take place in a digital = environment.=20 Key dates:=20 Abstract submission deadline - April 30th 2021 Abstract notification - Mai/June 2021 Conference dates - August 22nd - August 25th 2021 Submission Guidelines All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another = journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome: Full papers: Oral presentation of a research topic or empirical data = related to forensic phonetics Posters: Presentation of a topic or empirical data in the format of a = poster Work-in-progress posters: Presentation of a topic with intermediate or = preliminary results For initial submission, enter the abstract text into the form provided = by easychair. You can make changes later. For the abstract booklet, we = invite you to submit formatted abstracts. Details will be made available = to you after initial submission. Please indicate at the very beginning = of your text whether your abstract is for a full paper, poster, or = work-in-progress poster by typing in the form: Full paper:, Poster:, = Work-in-progress poster:, respectively.
