The position has funding for 14 months. The project uses the Meddis' physiological model of the auditory periphery = (MAP) as a front end to a novel type of vocoder. The vocoder can be "impaired" in many different ways by interfering with th= e physiological model. If you are interested in the position, please get in touch with myself of J= acques Grange (GrangeJA@xxxxxxxx<mailto:GrangeJA@xxxxxxxx>) for more details. The person description and application form can be found here.... 9356BR - Research Associate in Simulation of Hearing Impairment <https://kr= b-sjobs.brassring.com/TGnewUI/Search/Home/HomeWithPreLoad?partnerid=3D30011= &siteid=3D5460&PageType=3DsearchResults&SearchType=3Dlinkquery&LinkID=3D6#j= obDetails=3D1600603_5460> John --_000_DB7PR02MB4156E544ED2F8BCC60AC860F870A0DB7PR02MB4156eurp_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html xmlns:v=3D"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o=3D"urn:schemas-micr= osoft-com:office:office" xmlns:w=3D"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" = xmlns:m=3D"http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2004/12/omml" xmlns=3D"http:= //www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">
<meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dus-ascii"= > <meta name=3D"Generator" content=3D"Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)">
<body lang=3D"EN-GB" link=3D"#0563C1" vlink=3D"#954F72"> <div class=3D"WordSection1"> <p class=3D"MsoNormal">Dear all,
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">We have a position open for a post-doctoral research= er for an ongoing project on simulation of hearing impairment.</= p> <p class=3D"MsoNormal">The position has funding for 14 months.</= p> <p class=3D"MsoNormal">
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">The project uses the Meddis’ physiological mod= el of the auditory periphery (MAP) as a front end to a novel type of vocode= r.
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">The vocoder can be “impaired” in many di= fferent ways by interfering with the physiological model.
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">If you are interested in the position, please get in= touch with myself of Jacques Grange (<a href=3D"mailto:GrangeJA@xxxxxxxx">= GrangeJA@xxxxxxxx) for more
<p class=3D"MsoNormal">details.
