Best, Beth ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN AUDIOLOGY/HEARING SCIENCE PURDUE UNIVERSITY The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue Universi= ty, West Lafayette, IN is seeking applications for an assistant or associat= e level tenure-track faculty position in Audiology/Hearing Science. Researc= hers incorporating diverse methodologies to understand normal and/or disord= ered hearing are particularly encouraged to apply. Primary criteria are exc= ellence in research and in teaching. A PhD in Audiology/Hearing Science or = a related field is required. Essential duties include teaching at the under= graduate and graduate level. The position is a 10-month appointment with an= anticipated start date of August 2021. The Department offers undergraduate and graduate education. Graduate educa= tion includes MS-SLP, AuD and PhD programs, as well as dual-degree tracks (= e.g., AuD/PhD, MS-SLP/PhD). Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences<http:/= /www.purdue.edu/hhs/slhs/> is the principal occupant of the state-of-the-ar= t Lyles-Porter Hall with an adjacent fMRI research facility. At this site, = the Audiology Clinic, which serves as a Medicare provider, also provides di= agnostic and rehabilitative services to infants through patients older than= 100 and averages 1,900 patient visits a year. SLHS is a diverse and colle= gial department, with 21 tenure track and 16 clinical faculty who have the = opportunity to capitalize on an extraordinary network of collaborations and= resources that includes strong support for inter-disciplinary and translat= ional research.
