Initially we thought we may try to move the meeting to the spring (hey, Split in spring would be even more lovely!). But many conferences have been moved there already, and seeing how things are evolving, there is no guarantee that the international travel situation will be any better next year. We have also wondered whether we should keep a placeholder online event in January 2021 to mark the date, but the general feeling around me is that everybody is a bit Zoomed-out. We may still organise a short online social or more scientific event for those who are nostalgic of SPIN, but so far nothing is decided apart from the fact that we will mostly just postpone to 2022. I want to add that I feel very sorry for all those who were looking forward to presenting their work at SPIN next year, and especially for students who have limited opportunities to do so. I hope a one year delay remains within the range of what can be absorbed, and I hope we'll find ways to make up for it in 2022. Don't hesitate to write to me if you have ideas about this. Take care, and I hope we can have an even more glorious SPIN in 2022! -Etienne --=20 Etienne Gaudrain, PhD Centre de Recherche en Neurosciences de Lyon - CNRS UMR 5292 Universit=C3=A9 Lyon 1 50 av.
