The goal is to recruit diverse applicants who may be considered for tenure track positions following the post-doctoral position. There are many ways for perception researchers to meet the targeted criteria, including the study of health disparities in perceptual disorders across different populations, a focus on the needs of populations with impaired sensory abilities, and others.
