--0000000000007ec91e05a55b2256 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Dear List, Our goal is to create an open community of sound enthusiasts (artists and researchers) with a particular interest for the Soundscapes of the Mediterranean Region and their political and cultural extensions and significations. The community would study the sound of the Mediterranean in its many different aspects and trace its sonic details; this would be achieved by exploring qualitative and quantitative particulars that give shape to the nature of the contemporary Mediterranean and even by utilising this data for policy implementation. The community also wishes to bring together collective projects, which expose the importance, similarities/differences and varieties of regions across the Mediterranean Sea. Generally, it aims at creating a collaborative network which will develop artwork and research with the regions involved. Sound Art | Acoustic Ecology | Aural Architecture | Politics of Sound | Field Recording | Electroacoustic Music | Soundwalks | Acousmatic Experience | Soundscape Studies | Listening | Deep Listening ...are some of the wide themes of the topics to be explored, all under the prism of the geographical zone of the Mediterranean. We would like to hear your (even minimal) feedback regarding the above. Please fill this quick survey and let us know your thoughts (your answers can be anonymous). https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pCRfmihccwhte7Zpbqvz0LSK4QXInrTc5isZwsmwQQ4/edit?ts=5eb40ccf --0000000000007ec91e05a55b2256 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div>Dear List, <br></div><div><br></div><div>Our goal is = to create an open community of sound enthusiasts (artists and researchers) = with a particular interest for the Soundscapes of the Mediterranean Region = and their political and cultural extensions and significations. <br><br>The= community would study the sound of the Mediterranean in its many different= aspects and trace its sonic details; this would be achieved by exploring q= ualitative and quantitative particulars that give shape to the nature of th= e contemporary Mediterranean and even by utilising this data for policy imp= lementation. <br><br>The community also wishes to bring together collective= projects, which expose the importance, similarities/differences and variet= ies of regions across the Mediterranean Sea.
