If there are an= y among you interested in and/or practicing sonification I would be keen to= get your perspective on the perceptual aspects of sonification. My researc= h into Perceptually Congruent Sonification (PerCS) has examined the role of= auditory perception in sonification, particularly that of Auditory Scene A= nalysis (ASA) and Stream Segregation, and was first introduced at the ICAD = 2019 Student ThinkTank. Below is a link to my collated research in the form of a Web Guide that inc= ludes a number of audio-visual interactions illustrating ASA principles (co= re content can be found under the Guidelines section): https://sonification.ie/ This second link is to a very short survey that aims to assess how importan= t those involved with sonification consider pre-existing auditory perceptio= n research, as well as their experience of the above Web Guide: https://forms.gle/nY41oHfNASiwC2PU8 I'd appreciate any feedback on this topic (even if it's only a response to = the first part of the survey) and will share the preliminary results. Please contact joe.fitzpatrick@xxxxxxxx for any questions.
