SysMus is a series of international conferences annually organised by students of systematic musicology/music science. Being able to present their work to peers in a professional, yet informal, setting gives students who are still in the beginning of their academic career the opportunity to take their ideas into the world and network with peers. Many previous attendants report that participating at this conference has helped them in their future careers in both academia and the private sector. SysMus is dedicated to represent the diversity of topics and methods that are summarised under the umbrella term =E2=80=98systematic musicology=E2=80= =99.
