As in previous years the workshop is organized in conjunction with the DCASE challenge. We aim to bring together researchers from many different universities and companies with an interest in the topic, and provide the opportunity for scientific exchange of ideas and opinions. The technical program will include invited speakers on the topic of computational everyday sound analysis and recognition, and oral and poster presentations of 54 accepted papers. -- Mark Cartwright, PhD Research Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science and Engineering Music and Audio Research Lab (MARL) & Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) New York University, New York, NY http://www.markcartwright.com --0000000000003b4c9e0591a5b0b5 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">Dear colleagues,

This is just a friendly reminder t= hat the=C2=A0early registration=C2=A0deadline=C2=A0for the 20= 19 Workshop on Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events (= DCASE) is this=C2=A0Friday, September 6:=C2=A0<a href=3D"http= ://dcase.community/workshop2019/registration">http://dcase.community/worksh= op2019/registration

The=C2=A0<a href=3D"http://dcase.community/w= orkshop2019">workshop=C2=A0will be held in New York City on October 25-= 26 2019 and immediately follows WASPAA 2019 and SANE 2019, also hosted in N= ew York, offering a full week of exciting audio related research!

As= in previous years the workshop is organized in conjunction with the DCASE = challenge.
