We are currently advertising a 24-month Research Fellow post based in the S= cottish Section of the University of Nottingham's Hearing Sciences departme= nt (location Glasgow). This is a thriving centre of research into how peopl= e use their hearing, how hearing impairment affects them, and how new techn= ologies might help. The successful candidate will support and collaborate with researchers in d= elivering an MRC programme grant on communication ecology. The duties will = include integrating diverse sensor and stimulus presentation systems, devel= oping computational models of communication behaviours, carrying out data a= nalyses and reporting results. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent experience in engineering/computer= science/bioengineering or a closely related subject area. As the postholde= r will be involved in the expansion of our lab to include multi- person rec= ordings of EEG, motion capture, and gaze, while manipulating audio presenta= tion, they should have experience integrating hardware and software for div= erse data measurement. They should also have strong programming skills for = modelling of behaviours, and a positive attitude to collaboration. Closing date: 28th August. For further information see link:https://www.job= s.ac.uk/job/BUE182/research-associate-fellow-fixed-term-location-glasgow Informal enquiries can be addressed to Lauren.Hadley1@xxxxxxxx<mail= to:Lauren.Hadley1@xxxxxxxx> Thanks!
