The ENT Department of the Hannover Medical School is seeking a PostDoc (phy= sics, biology, electrical engineering or comparable), ideally with experien= ce in the field of audiology. The position is industry funded. Position Overview/Purpose: - Support of clinical research projects in the fields of cochlear implant s= ound coding strategies, clinical care and audiological fitting, surgical te= chniques, as well as product validation studies - Authoring of internal reports and publications for conferences and peer-r= eviewed journals - Managing clinical research projects, to ensure delivery against time and = budget with all risks effectively managed Key requirements: - PhD level degree in medicine, science, or engineering - 3 years of experience in a research field involving clinical research - Demonstrated ability to author scientific publications in peer-reviewed j= ournals in English - Fluent in German and English The hired individual will have a unique opportunity to work with clinicians= , researchers, regulatory personnel, and industry personnel from Hannover M= edical School (including the German Hearing Center (DHZ), Hannover Clinical= Trial Center and Cochlear Limited (Australia)). The position includes an initial appointment of 2 years. The position is a = full-time position with 38.5 hours/ week and a salary that is dependent on = personal qualification according to the German salary scales TV-L.
