Positions include research areas of Sound and Music Computing, Internet of Musical Things, and Human-Computer Interaction. In particular the following PhD topics are proposed: - Smart Musical Instruments. This includes the topic of real-time music information retrieval on embedded systems, in particular using technologies developed by MIND Music Labs (wwww.mindmusiclabs.com) - Musical interfaces for the audience. This includes the design and development of haptic interfaces, applications of augmented and virtual reality, as well as systems for audience participation. - Multisensory interactions in augmented and virtual reality applications. This includes the topic of navigation in virtual environments by means of real walking or other forms of locomotion. The deadline for application is May 20, 2019, 04.00 PM (Italian time, +2GMT).
