This annual event brings together academi= cs and industry to investigate and advance audio production by using cuttin= g-edge tools and processes. The event is being run alongside the 22nd International Conference on Digit= al Audio Effects<http://dafx2019.bcu.ac.uk/?utm_source=3Dmail_list&utm_medi= um=3Demail&utm_campaign=3Dwimp_cfp>, also hosted at Birmingham City Univers= ity, Birmingham, UK. If you wish to submit, please take note of the following dates * 17th June 2019 Deadline for full paper submissions * 8th July 2019 Notification of Acceptance * 29th July 2019 Camera Ready Submission * 30th August 2019 Registration Deadline for Authors * 6th September 2019 Workshop Full details can be found on the conference website<http://wimp2019.bcu.ac.= uk/?utm_source=3Dmail_list&utm_medium=3Demail&utm_campaign=3Dwimp_cfp> ________________________________ Call for Papers: Read the full call for papers on the conference website<http://wimp2019.bcu= .ac.uk/cfp.html?utm_source=3Dmail_list&utm_medium=3Demail&utm_campaign=3Dwi= mp_cfp> The production of music requires creativity, extensive knowledge of audio p= rocessing and exceptional listening skills. Many of these complex productio= n processes have rules that could be made more intuitive, or managed by int= elligent processes. The aim of the conference is to discover new music prod= uction techniques using state-of-the-art practices and techniques. This event will provide an overview of the tools and techniques currently b= eing developed in the field, whilst providing insight for audio engineers, = producers and musicians looking to gain access to new technologies. The day= will consist of presentations from leading academics, keynotes, posters an= d demonstrations. Suggested topics include: * Automatic Mixing Technologies * Melody Generation * Philosophical foundations of IMP systems * Improving Accessibility to Music Production * Philosophical foundations of IMP systems * Intelligent and Assistive Production Tools * Semantically powered mixing technology * Utilising novel Human Inputs for the Mixing Experience As well as submissions in the following general areas: * Perception, psychoacoustics and evaluation * Source separation * Semantic audio processing * Musical similarity and structure analysis Submission Format Paper submissions are accepted in PDF format and should be between 2 and 4 = pages, including references. Templates for submission are available for Wor= d and LaTeX. Papers should be sent to intelligentmusicproduction@xxxxxxxx<mailto:intell= igentmusicproduction@xxxxxxxx?subject=3DWIMP2019%20Submission>. On submission, authors should express in their email a preference for eithe= r poster or oral presentation. The reviewers may recommend a paper be for o= ral presentation or poster. ________________________________ We look forward to your submissions and to welcoming you to Birmingham in S= eptember WIMP 2019: Friday 6th September, 2019 http://wimp2019.bcu.ac.uk/ DAFx 2019: Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th September http://dafx2019.bcu.ac.uk/ Digital Media Technology Lab, Birmingham City University, Birmingham, UK http://dmtlab.bcu.ac.uk/ --_000_AM4PR02MB31373B901D3936D8F2CFF52896260AM4PR02MB3137eurp_ Content-Type: text/html;
