(2009). The= amusic brain: in tune, out of key, and unaware. Brain, 132(5), 1277-1286. The spreadsheet can be accessed using the same link (see email copied below= ). (Also, please note: some of the studies used out-of-tune as well as out-of-= key targets. Only target pitches that were either in-key or out-of-key are= included in this table.) Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2019 4:47 PM To: 'AUDITORY@xxxxxxxx' <AUDITORY@xxxxxxxx> Subject: List of ERP studies of melodic expectation Dear List, Many thanks to those who responded to my email asking about ERP studies of = melodic expectation. Thanks to your input we added some studies to our lis= t. Here is a link to a spreadsheet with the list (created by my grad stude= nt Allison Fogel): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17nKgAnFeTdQ0X83lCfAnEmSDXAzN4gtIYjt= of372Ky0/edit?usp=3Dsharing To be included in this list, a study had to include ERP analysis of unexpec= ted notes in: 1. Novel melodies, presented without repetition during the experiment 2. Healthy normal adult or children participants 3. Unimodal auditory presentation (e.g., not in melodies presented al= ong with visual notation) Studies had to be published in English in peer-reviewed journals. If our list is missing any studies that meet our criteria, please accept ou= r apologies and let us know so we can add them to the list. Thanks very much for your input.
