We are especially pleased to announce our three keynote speakers: W. Owen Brimijoin from Facebook Reality Labs who will discuss how 'Moving listeners=E2=80=99 expectations about the acoustic world shape their spatia= l perception' Agnieszka Roginska from New York University who will talk about 'Personalizing the shared immersive sound experience', and finally Anastasia Devana from Magic Leap, who will talk about 'Redefining Sound Design for New Realities'. We also have a great schedule of social events around the medieval town of York, as well as a multichannel concert the night before the conference in the Rymer auditorium, the main conference venue. With the Early Bird registration deadline of March 5th approaching, tickets to the event are selling fast! If you want to register for the event please go to http://www.aes.org/conferences/2019/immersive/registration.cfm Hope to see you all there, Very best, Gavin Kearney and Damian Murphy, Conference Chairs %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% 2019 AES International Conference on Immersive and Interactive Audio - Creating the next dimension of sound experience - Dates: March 27-29, 2019 Location: York, UK Immersive audio systems are ubiquitous and range from macro-systems installed in cinemas, theatres and concert halls to micro-systems for domestic, in-car entertainment, VR/AR and mobile platforms. New developments in human-computer interaction, in particular head and body motion tracking and artificial intelligence, are paving the way for adaptive and intelligent audio technologies that promote audio personalisation and heightened levels of immersion. Interactive audio systems can now readily utilise non-tactile data such as listener location, orientation, gestural control and even biometric feedback such as heart rate or skin conductance, to intelligently adjust immersive sound output. Such systems offer new creative possibilities for a diverse range of applications from virtual and augmented reality through to automotive audio and beyond. This opens up exciting new opportunities for artists and audio producers to create compelling immersive experiences. This three-day conference will explore the unique space where interactive technologies and immersive audio meet and aims to exploit the synergies between these fields. #iia2019 --=20 Dr. Gavin Kearney Associate Professor in Audio and Music Technology Department of Electronic Engineering University of York Heslington York YO10 5DD Tel: +44 (0) 1904 32 2374 Fax: +44 (0) 1904 32 2335 Web: http://www.elec.york.ac.uk/ SADIE Project: http://www.sadie-project.co.uk/ Enhancing Audio Description Project: http://enhancingaudiodescription.com/ EMAIL DISCLAIMER http://www.york.ac.uk/docs/disclaimer/email.htm --00000000000086ea390582de0a93 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-h= eight:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style=3D"fo= nt-size:11pt">Hello all and apologies for the cross-posting

<p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-s= ize:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang=3D"EN">The organising c= ommitte of the 2019 AES International Conference on Immersive and Interactive Audio are pleased to announce that the full technical programme is now online.
<p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-s= ize:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang=3D"EN"><a href=3D"http:= //www.aes.org/conferences/2019/immersive/program.cfm"><span style=3D"color:= windowtext;text-decoration-line:none">http://www.aes.org/conferences/2019/i= mmersive/program.cfm
<p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:115%;font-s= ize:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang=3D"EN">This 3 day event= is packed full of technical papers, workshops, tutorials, panel discussions and demonstrations explorin= g the rich space where immersive audio meets interactive technologies.
