This is a permanent post as Lecturer in Speech Sciences (Grade 8). Job description: The postholder will contribute to research and teaching in= the area of Speech, Hearing and Phonetic Sciences, such as speech producti= on, speech perception, neuroscience, hearing, or spoken language developmen= t. The postholder will be expected to develop an outstanding research profi= le that enhances the international standing of the department. In addition = to research, the postholder will be expected to engage in a range of teachi= ng activities including the development, delivery, assessment and quality a= ssurance of teaching programmes and modules. The postholder will also under= take supervision of student research projects, provide pastoral care for st= udents, and undertake administrative duties in the department. Applicants w= ith skills in the application of advanced statistical, computational or ins= trumental methods to the field of speech communication science, or who have= experience in the applications of speech science and technology in health,= education or business will be particularly welcome.
