This position is in the department o= f Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Michigan State University. The r= esearch in AVAH lab is focused on studying the voice production mechanisms = and human auditory system. The Ph.D. opening is for fall 2019 and is on studying laryngeal mechanisms = of voice production using high-speed videoendoscopy. Applicants with either of a clinical or quantitative background are eligibl= e to apply. There will be the opportunity of doing a dual degree with the d= epartment of Computational Mathematics for applicants with a quantitative b= ackground.
