Potential projects range f= rom psychophysical testing to computational modeling of data. Other projec= ts include how to apply this information to design novel training and compe= nsation strategies to improve speech perception with hearing devices. Thes= e questions are studied in adults and children with normal-hearing, hearing= loss/hearing aids, and cochlear implants. Requirements include: 1) a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Sci= ence, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a hearing-related field; 2) = Experience with designing psychophysical experiments and working with human= subjects; 3) Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Pr= eference will be given to individuals who have experience with perceptual o= r computational models, and programming in MATLAB and/or C++. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and contact informati= on for three references to the lab director, Lina Reiss at reiss@xxxxxxxx<m= ailto:reiss@xxxxxxxx> Lina A.J.
