Regards, Valeriy Assistant Professor Tenure Track Job Description: Rush University Department of Communication Disorders & Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position in Audiology with a starting day of July 1, 2019. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the Au.D. program, research and scholarly pursuits, student advisement and clinical service in the qualified candidate=E2=80=99s area of expertise. Qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in Audiology or a related field with previous experience in teaching, research, and clinical service consistent with expectations for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level. An Illinois license in Audiology or eligibility is required. Preferred areas of expertise include amplification and (re)habilitation, but candidates with a track-record of research and scholarly productivity will be considered in all areas. The individual will hold a faculty appointment in Communication Disorders and Sciences. The Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) environment facilitates interprofessional collaboration with colleagues in speech-language pathology, otolaryngology, neurology, pediatrics, psychology, geriatrics and other specialties.
