The research will be carried out in my=20 laboratory (audiolab.usal.es) with close interaction with Oticon Medical=20 (Nice, France). The work involves developing computational models of auditory nerve=20 responses to electrical stimulation, measuring outcomes in cochlear=20 implant users, and developing computational models of cochlear implant=20 outcomes. Candidates are expected to have a PhD and/or post-doctoral experience in=20 auditory modeling, excellent programming skills in Matlab, excellent=20 command of English language, and excellent oral and written=20 communication skills. Knowledge of Spanish language, and experience in C=20 or Python programming languages and in testing cochlear implant users=20 will be advantageous. We offer a one-year contract with the possibility of extending it up to=20 three years, a thriving multi-disciplinary research environment, and a=20 close interaction with industry.
