In your new job, you will be part of the Centre for Applied Audiology Resea= rch, which consists of eight researchers and two student research assistant= s. We do research and communication related to hearing technology and heari= ng aid benefits. These benefits are documented through scientific publicati= ons, technical documentations provided by internal collaborators or through= clinical research with independent research partners. The group sets a dir= ection for R&D audiology and acts as the interface between audiology and th= e commercial organization. You will be responsible for defining requirements for new functionality, an= d ensuring clinical evidence is in place on time for product launches. You = will use this evidence to build audiological communication that is in line = with our strategy and vision and communicate to a wide range of professiona= ls in the field of audiology. Senior researcher with great communication skills To handle your future challenges, we expect you to hold a PhD in Audiology = or related field and have at least 4 years of post-doctoral research experi= ence. Furthermore, you possess knowledge within areas such as amplification= , acoustics, signal processing, hearing devices and transducers, audiology = and evidence-based practice. Research experience within cognitive neuroscie= nce or cognitive hearing science will be a major advantage. Communication is an important part of this job - written, oral, on-site and= off-site, which requires an efficient communicator, who is able to target = a given audience, view the same issue from different perspectives and use t= his to obtain the right solution.
