Qualifications A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science, b= iomedical engineering or related field is required. Candidates with a Maste= r's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineer= ing or related field and 3+ years of applicable experience may be considere= d. Research and development experience in hearing enhancement including hea= ring aids or cochlear implants is highly desirable. Research and developmen= t experience in modern machine learning algorithms such as deep neural netw= orks is a strong plus. Skills * Proficiency in Matlab or Python is required * Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required * Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing is required * Good verbal and written communication skills are required * Good interpersonal skills are required * Proficiency in modern machine learning techniques such as deep neural= networks is highly desirable * Proficiency in audio and speech processing algorithms such as multipl= e-channel compression, acoustic feedback cancellation, speech enhancement a= nd audio classification algorithms is a plus * Proficiency in physiological signal processing algorithms such as EEG= and ECG signal processing is a plus Salary Salary commensurate with experience.
