<html> <head> <meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dutf= -8"> </head> <body text=3D"#000000" bgcolor=3D"#FFFFFF"> <p>Dear colleagues,</p> <p>A <b>3 year fully funded Post Doc position</b> is open at Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, Denmark. The topic of the position relate to the situation of individuals, who experience hearing problems, but have low compensation benefit from regular hearing-aids.<br> </p> It is the aim of the post doc project to explore options for alleviation of these patients=E2=80=99 hearing problems, and to obtai= n more knowledge about the characteristics of these patient populations. The work will include the consideration of electrophysiological measurements and/or psychoacoustic procedures, which are not currently used in the typical clinical situation. The work will also include proposals for supplementary profiling and alleviation strategies. <p>The position is part of a Danish project collaboration for better hearing rehabilitation (BEAR-hearing.dk) with financial support from the Innovation Foundation Denmark and partners (incl. Widex, GN Resound, Oticon, DELTA a part of Force, the University of Southern Denmark, the Danish Technical University, and the University Hospitals in Odense, Aalborg and Copenhagen). The case populations for the study is determined in collaboration with other partners, and is based on the already ongoing clinical work in the BEAR project.
