The idea in the book was to bake our DirAC- and CroPaC-related wor= k into it, and invite chapters from other researchers having similar approa= ches. Finally there is 8 chapters from my group, and 7 chapters from exter= nal groups. At least I am quite happy with the book. :-) http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-1119252598.html [from wiley site] This book provides readers with the principles and best practices in spatia= l audio signal processing. It describes how sound fields and their perceptu= al attributes are captured and analyzed within the time-frequency domain, h= ow essential representation parameters are coded, and how such signals are = efficiently reproduced for practical applications. The book is split into f= our parts starting with an overview of the fundamentals. It then goes on to= explain the reproduction of spatial sound before offering an examination o= f signal-dependent spatial filtering. The book finishes with coverage of bo= th current and future applications and the direction that spatial audio res= earch is heading in. And yes, it includes a matlab implementation of a certain version of DirAC.= The version of it is a STFT-based virtual-microphone-based first-order Dir= AC. All the best, Ville Pulkki --_000_3DC0AA78B31843F7BA647267C050057Caaltofi_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-ID: <F9B3F6E91218C442B8E9BA8CF6AE0F8B@xxxxxxxx> Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <head> <meta http-equiv=3D"Content-Type" content=3D"text/html; charset=3Dus-ascii"= > </head> <body style=3D"word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-lin= e-break: after-white-space;" class=3D""> <div class=3D"">[sorry for cross-posting]</div> <div class=3D""><br class=3D""> </div> <div class=3D"">Hello,&nbsp;</div> <div class=3D""><br class=3D""> </div> <div class=3D"">this is to inform of our new contributed book: 15 chapters,= 416 pages, matlab code.
