Please direct any questions and interest to Erik Larsen at elarsen@xxxxxxxx I will provide detailed role descriptions on request. A summary profile of the two roles: 1. *Scientist, Hearing Research*; will work as an integral member of the Translational Research team to lead the design, development and executio= n of research studies, both with external collaborators in academia and clinical sites, and internal research with volunteer subjects. This person will also interface frequently with the internal Discovery research teams to ensure good coordination of pre-clinical and clinical research, and the Data Sciences and Informatics teams in the development and refining of large scale hearing databases. The role requires and advanced degree (PhD or MSc with 4+ years relevant experience) and approx. 2+ years additional formal training (e.g. post-doctoral) or relevant industry R&D experience 2. Research Audiologist; will work within the same team on similar projects as the research role mentioned above. The ideal person for this role is a certified Audiologist with demonstrated research experience an= d an interest to devote the majority of their time on research projects, while bringing the clinical audiological perspective into our research projects and external collaborations. This role requires and audiology degree with 2+ years of clinical practice and have a current certification. There is no expectation for clinic time in this role. As a side note, Decibel and Regeneron yesterday announced a unique research collaboration to jointly discover and develop drugs for hearing programs, which will see both companies combine their complementary capabilities to bring these products to market. The two open roles on the translational team will be involved with this collaboration as well. https://www.fiercebiotech.com/biotech/decibel-signs-unique-partnership-deal= -regeneron-for-hearing-programs?mkt_tok=3DeyJpIjoiTWpnelpqUmhNbVk1WldRNCIsI= nQiOiJPTXdZN1NONXY0Z3NFcURvRFVjblA0MkpZbjl5Nm9QZTRcLzlYTVkycFYzWHAyR0kyNU1m= S3NDZFNReVhKM3g4Z3NBdVFpcklmSWF2OTVLTGxEZW9JNis0U0FxU0h3b3BZSElLVFh2ZXNZZzk= yYk1Rd3J4VXVXNXJjK21URlA0QzIifQ%3D%3D&mrkid=3D701754&utm_medium=3Dnl&utm_so= urce=3Dinternal About Decibel: Decibel is building the world=E2=80=99s first comprehensive, integrated drug discovery, translational research, and drug development platform to protect, repair, and restore hearing.
