We started by recording the brain=E2=80=99s response to each note of the pi= ano. Then, using a simple process called =E2=80=9Csonification=E2=80=9D, these n= eural recordings were converted back to sound clips. These sound clips can be combined to re-create your favorite song or compose your own *neuromusic*. They could also serve as an educational tool for newcomers to neuroscience. Users can download the sample library from the website below and compose music using their favorite computer software or music hardware. To listen to some demo tracks, and download the library, visit: https://skoelab.uconn.edu/neural-symphony/ For questions about Neural Symphony, please contact: parker.tichko@xxxxxxxx Sincerely, Parker Tichko and Erika Skoe --089e08230bdcc6e6b2055f10ab09 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"font-size:12.8px;color:rgb= (0,0,0)"><span style=3D"font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Dear C= olleagues,
<p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"font-size:12.8px;color= :rgb(0,0,0)"><font face=3D"Segoe UI, sans-serif">=C2=A0
<p class= =3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"font-size:12.8px;color:rgb(0,0,0)"><font face=3D"Se= goe UI, sans-serif">We are pleased to announce the release of=C2=A0Neura= l Symphony, a publicly available sample library of royalty-free neural = sonfications that enables anyone to make music with sounds of the human bra= in.=C2=A0
<p class=3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"font-size:12.8px;color:= rgb(0,0,0)"><font face=3D"Segoe UI, sans-serif">=C2=A0
<p class= =3D"MsoNormal" style=3D"font-size:12.8px;color:rgb(0,0,0)"><font face=3D"Se= goe UI, sans-serif">We started by recording the brain=E2=80=99s response to= each note of the piano.
