Music is at the core, but= the=20 scope is larger. You will be educated as a technological humanist or=20 humanistic technologist, with technical, reflective and aesthetic=20 skills. Communication and interaction in our digital age will be at the=20 core of the MCT programme. The MCT programme is unique in that the student group is physically=20 split between Oslo and Trondheim, 500 kilometres apart. A high-quality,=20 network-based multimedia connection allows for discussions, socialising=20 and music making. As a student you will get hands-on experience with=20 state-of-the-art facilities, including motion capture systems, music=20 production studios, and large loudspeaker arrays. The theoretical=20 components include acoustics, music cognition, machine learning and=20 human-computer interaction.
