The theme for this year's event is Engagement. The first half of the event will feature talks from Jacek Dmochowski (City College of New York), Douglas Eck (Google Magenta), and Blair Kaneshiro (Stanford University) as well as an interactive lecture-performance by Sageev Oore (Saint Mary's University (Canada)/ Google Magenta). The talks will be followed by a lunch and poster session. The event is free and open to the public (registration required -- space is limited), sponsored by the Scott and Annette Turow Fund.
