It is desirable for candidates to have additional interest, experience, and expertise in one or more complementary areas, such as technologically-mediated performance, composition, or improvisation; spatial audio; digital signal processing; creative coding; theory and analysis of electronic music; virtual and augmented reality; video game music and sound; video production / experimental visual media; or auditory perception. The successful candidate must have a terminal degree in a relevant field prior to the start date or equivalent experience.
