Specific tasks will include conducting clinical audiological procedures, such as CI mapping, speech recognition testing, and electrophysiology recordings, as well as measuring computerized direct stimulation of participants=E2=80=99 internal devices. Projects are mainly = focused on comparing older and younger CI users to establish age-related differences in an effort to improve speech recognition outcomes for older CI users. Responsibilities will include research responsibilities (data collection, managing databases, and analyses), administrative duties (scheduling participants, maintaining lab documentation), and supervising undergraduate/graduate research assistants. Preference will be given to those who have a good mix of research, clinical, and administrative skills. *Qualifications*: Prior experience with CIs and electrophysiology is preferred, but not required.
