Hello, I am a Ph.D. student working on developing new objective measures for evaluation of source separation in music; in my lab we are conducting a listening experiment to evaluate the quality of separation of the singing voice from popular music. We are looking for volunteers to participate in the study and we would be grateful if you can help us out. If you choose to participate, you will listen to some audio excerpts which contain popular music and have been processed to separate the vocals in the song from the rest of the music; and you will grade them in comparison to each other. You can participate by going to http://svslisteningtest.gatech.edu The whole thing should not take more the ten to fifteen minutes of your time. Sincerely, Udit Gupta Georgia Institute of Technology (Apologies for cross posting)
