Gordo= n conferences offer a great opportunity for the exchange of scientific idea= s in a smaller and more intimate setting. The 5th biannual Auditory GRC is = entitled The Plastic and Dynamic Auditory System to reflect the broad range= of topics covering all levels of the system. Applicants who wish to be considered for an oral presentation must submit t= heir application by June 12, 2016. The Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on the Auditory System on July 9-10, 2016= is a special meeting that precedes the GRC. The GRS is moderated by and ex= clusively composed of presentations by postdoctoral fellows and graduate st= udents. The only exceptions will be a keynote lecture by Jason Sanchez (No= rthwestern) and a presentation/Q&A session on NIH/NIDCD grants and training= opportunities. Travel and meeting support (amounts to be determined) will= be provided to a select number of participants.
