POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a mechanical or biomechanics = engineer to lead computational modeling efforts and physiological = measurements of the unique tympanic membrane direct contact transducer. = You will be responsible for making measurements on human cadaver = temporal bones using laser Doppler vibrometry and for developing = lumped-element and finite element models of the human middle ear and = it=92s interface with the transducer. A firm understanding of modeling = approaches including MATLAB and COMSOL multi-physics or similar = techniques is critical to success. Being a startup, the position will = require significant hands-on work in the trenches working side by side = with the engineers that will develop new devices. Incorporate the transducer into the lumped-element and = finite-element models of the human middle ear 7.
