--001a11408574a1c27a051fee681e Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear list members, The acoustic research team at our university is developing a game-like mobile application for the Android platform called Auretigaa (Auditory Response Time Game) that is freely available in the Google Play Store for download: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=3Dcom.sze.crowdaudio During the =E2=80=9Egame=E2=80=9D a single user can choose between various = sounds (noises, speech, click-train etc.) and directions from 3 to 5 (left, right, front and in between directions). After plugging a headphone and entering ID, gender and age information a test will be started, and users have to press the buttons on the screen according to the directions of the sound as fast as possible. Error rates, time etc. will be logged and in case of internet connection, results will be synchronized with our server. Installation and use of the application should be easy and self-explaining. We did lots of controlled laboratory experiments by far and now we decided to collect =E2=80=9Euncontrolled=E2=80=9D results until the end of the year= . This crowdsourced data will be then compared with the laboratory data. Our team kindly asks you and everybody around you to download, to try, to give feedback and to help us to collect more data.
