--001a1144f8c06f27bb051fd04511 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Hello All, This is a note to those that are, or may be, in the San Francisco Bay area: We have organized a "meet-up" around the theme of audio and speech DSP, called BISH Bash <http://www.meetup.com/bishbash/>. This is a bi-monthly opportunity for folks in the community to come together and socialize for an evening and hear a presentation on topics related to the theme. We try to have events in all parts of the Bay Area. The next BISH Bash will take place at Gracenote (Emeryville, CA) on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 17. Music mood classification and perceptual evaluation of audio processing are among the topics to be discussed. This is a free event (courtesy of Gracenote), where food, beer, and wine will be provided. If interested you can sign up, or just find out more about the group, on the BISH Bash page at the meet-up website: http://www.meetup.com/bishbash/ . Be sure to bring your mood rings and personal perceptual evaluation systems! Sincerely, Bill Woods --001a1144f8c06f27bb051fd04511 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div><div><div>Hello All,<br><br></div>This is a note= to those that are, or may be, in the San=20 Francisco Bay area: We have organized a &quot;meet-up&quot; around the them= e=20 of audio and speech DSP, called <a href=3D"http://www.meetup.com/bishbash/"= target=3D"_blank">BISH Bash</a>.
