The Starkey Hearing Research Center is currently seeking a Research Scientist in hearing science to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to rapidly test scientific ideas and efficiently translate them into new listening solutions that touch the lives of millions around the world. Researchers at the Center create and apply insights in psychoacoustics, cognition, speech communication, and computational modeling, combined with modern insights in acoustics, audiology, and signal processing to develop new audio processing algorithms, new diagnostic-based fitting procedures, and new patient-benefit validation approaches. The position is responsible for conducting auditory perception research on listeners with hearing impairment aimed at creating innovative solutions for enhanced listening for Starkey=E2=80=99s product pipeline.
