Call for Papers: 2nd Conference of the Australian Music & Psychology Society - AMPS 2015 - The Art and Science of Music 7-9 December 2015, Sydney Hosted by MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour & Development, University of Western Sydney (UWS), Australia Abstracts and symposium proposals are invited for the 2nd Conference of the Australian Music and Psychology Society (AMPS), Monday 7 December to Wednesday 9 December in Sydney. AMPS 2015 is hosted by the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour & Development at the University of Western Sydney and follows the successful inaugural AMPS conference held at the University of Melbourne in 2013. The theme of AMPS 2015 is The Art and Science of Music. AMPS 2015 keynote speakers will be Professors Jane Davidson, Sonja Kotz and Joe Wolfe. Oral paper, poster, and symposium proposals are invited from students, practitioners, and academics. Topics at the intersection of music and psychology will include (but are not limited to) music performance, music perception and cognition, music composition, improvisation, creativity, digital media, music education, music therapy, music and dance, wellbeing and health, psychoacoustics, music and language, rhythm and timing, and computational models of music(al) processes. Abstracts are due 1 September 2015.
